These rules are subject to change and you are responsible for knowing them. The "I didn't know" excuse will not work. You are responsible for knowing these.

1. Absolutely no illegal content.
   
2. Do not go off topic.
   
3. Your signature cannot be ridiculously big. We will remove it if we feel it is to large. Ridiculously big means it stretches the forum on a 1024x764 resolution.
   
4. No spamming. Period. This can range from one word replies such as "rofl" and "lol", to advertisements, to spambots.
   
5. No multiple accounts. We like to know who is who and we do have several ways to keep track of this.
   
6. Please report any and all spam or flaming by using the report post button.
   
7. Do not reply in spambot threads - this is a ban-able offense, report them instead! You are only bringing more attention to them!
   
8. If you think a thread is stupid, pointless, or you just don't care - don't reply.
   
   
   1. If you think something is stupid, give your rationale, don't just say "oh that's dumb."
      
      
   
   
9. The Sunfury-Gaming Staff reserves the right to ban or remove anyone from the community at any time, with or without a proper reason.
   
10. Cheating in the arcade will earn you a permanent ban.
    
11. Do not mini-mod; do not post things like 'I smell a ban' or 'this is against the rules' or 'wrong forum'. Report the post/ thread instead via the report button. You have the freedom of speech, say as you will, just don't go off topic.
    
    
    1. Don't call out a moderator or administrator publicly for banning someone, PM them asking why they did it first. A lot of times you don't know what else happened besides the surface-level ban reason in the log. IE: A member made a flaming post in a controversial thread, the mod deletes the thread and bans the user. Others might start to think he was banned for inputting his opinion as seen in the other posts in that thread.
       
    2. Do not post saying "you're going to get banned" or "wrong section." Just report the thread and move on -don't derail it.
       
    
    
12. Do not make a post saying "nice bump" or "you're going to get banned" for someone bumping a very old thread and not contributing to it. Just report the post.
    
    
    1. Note: Bumping an old thread is not against the rules if you have a question or are contributing to it. Bumping an old thread with a reply such as "cool" or "thanks" is.
       
    
    
13. Threads and signatures containing referral or money making links and banners will not be tolerated.
    
14. If you wish to advertise for your site a simple link or a small banner will be tolerated in your signature. Anything else will be removed and you will be banned for 1 day.
    
15. Contribute to your thread. If you wish to post a link be sure to discuss it or give us information about it, don't just have a thread with a link and nothing else. That is boring and you aren't going to spark any conversation within the thread itself.
